Overview of TikTok
With TikTok, there's two ways you can use them to get content. You have the Branded feed where you can pull your own branded content into TINT and you also have our Chrome Extension so you can pull in non branded content that you absolutely love.
How to add a TikTok Branded feed
- Go to your TINT board
- Click on the TikTok symbol
- Select your account from the dropdown or add your account
- Leave ticked or unticked if you want manual moderation or auto-moderation on
- Click Add Social Feed
How to edit the label on a TikTok feed
By default, the label for the feed itself will be either the page name or group name but you are able to change this to whatever you would like.
- Go to the feed you would like to edit
- Click on the Settings cog
- Click on Edit Name
- Rename the feed to what you would like it to be
- Click on the tick to confirm or the x to cancel
- Your feed should be renamed
How to delete a TikTok feed
- Go to the feed you would like to edit
- Click on the Settings cog
- Click on Remove Feed
- A pop-up notification will appear with Are you sure? All content on this social feed will be deleted and cannot be recovered. Re-adding the exact feed will not recover these posts. You will be presented with two buttons - No, Keep Feed or Yes, Delete Feed
- The feed should disappear if you pressed Yes, Delete Feed
How to pause/unpause a TikTok feed
You can pause or unpause your TikTok feed if you don't want to ingest content or want to restart ingesting content.
To Pause the feed:
- Go to the feed you would like to pause
- Click on the pause icon to pause the feed or you can go onto the settings cog and click Pause Feed
- A popup box will say Are you sure? All content on this social feed will be paused and no new content will be ingested until its is un-paused
- Click on Yes, Pause Feed
- This will Pause the feed
To Unpause the feed:
- Go to the feed you would like to unpause
- Click on the Play icon to unpause the feed or you can go onto the settings cog and click unpause Feed
- This will unpause the feed
How to add TikTok content from the TINT Chrome Extension

Use the TINT Chrome Extension to get legal rights to Instagram content and access your UGC anywhere or to pull TikTok content that you just have to have into your TINT boards.
You can download the Chrome Extension here or go to the Chrome Extension store and simply search TINT, to find us.
How to use the TINT Chrome Extension for TikTok Content
Once installed, you can access the extension in Chrome in the upper right-hand corner of your browser window. You will need to log in and do the following:
- Click on the TINT logo in your Extensions in Chrome
- Log into your TINT account
- Click on Search TikTok which will take you to the TikTok website
- Check which team (for users that are in more than one team) and TINT board your chosen videos end up on. To change TINT board or/and your team, click on change TINT board in the right-hand corner
- Select the TINT board you want
- Click the arrow back to take you back to the select a post option
- Find a video you want to select
- Click on the video
- Click on Add Video to TINT
- This will add a feed to your TINT board called Browser Extensions and you will find your video there
