To display your TINT board, you’ll need a display screen, and an internet-connected device that is connected to your display screen. The most simple and effective setup is a laptop computer that is connected to the internet (preferably hard-wired by ethernet), which has a secondary screen connected via a HDMI cable or displaying it via a Chromecast. Click here on how to display your TINT board on your Chromecast.
What we recommend to display your TINT board
- A hard-wired internet connection will always be more stable than wifi. Whenever possible, use a hard-wired internet connection for the device you’ll be using to connect to your display screen.
- We recommend a minimum of 5Mb/s download speed on your internet connection.
- Make sure that you have at least 20 public posts on your TINT board before displaying it. Having less content on your TINT board when you display, it will likely result in performance issues and blank space.
- Use an up-to-date web browser to display your TINT board. TINT relies on modern HTML5 and CSS features to be displayed correctly. Proprietary web browsers, like those that are built into Smart TVs, likely won’t render a TINT board well as they are not updated very often unlike your standard web browser.
- Compatible version of web browsers:
-
- Edge: 84+
- Firefox: 78+
- Safari 14+
- Chrome 72+
