Content Management System Conflicts

On occasion, a Content Management System (CMS) may automatically strip out the script tag, or other important fields, from our TINT embed code. TINT users have reported these problems on Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, Shopify, and other CMS installations that have custom security settings or plugins.

If you’re experiencing issues with your TINT embed make sure that our embed code is making to your page intact. To do so follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the specific page where you have embedded your TINT
  2. Right-click on the page and click "View Source"
  3. Search for our widget (you can typically do this by executing a search for "tintup")
  4. Make sure that the embed code and the parameters match the code that was generated in the TINT Editor

If the embed code is missing any tags or fields then, your CMS is stripping out parts of our code. In order to resolve the issue, you will either need to disable your CMS security settings or configure them to allow our embed code.

How these settings are altered varies from system to system. If you are unable to troubleshoot the settings yourself, please contact your CMS’ support staff.
