The option to directly integrate a Google News feed is no longer available in the Content Panel due to recent changes within Google's systems. However, you can still stay up-to-date on current events with Google News by utilizing RSS feeds. RSS feeds offer a reliable way to follow specific topics and receive automatic updates whenever fresh articles appear. For more information on RSS feeds, click here.

How to get Google News via RSS Feed

  1. Go to https://www.google.com/alerts
  2. Search for the term that you would like to follow
  3. Click on Show Options and configure the options you would like
  4. Click on the dropdown for Deliver To and change it to RSS
  5. Click Create Alert
  6. On the page it goes to you will see an RSS icon , click on this
  7. Copy the link that you see in the address bar
  8. Go to TINT and the TINT board that you want to add the RSS feed to
  9. Click on the RSS symbol 
  10. Paste the link that you got from Google Alerts. It should look something like this: https://www.google.com/alerts/feeds/10795073778325353564/17168637545183015152 
  11. Leave ticked or unticked if you want manual moderation or auto-moderation on
  12. Click Add Social Feed
