Now you have requested the rights to your content and it has been approved, let's take a look at UGC Studio and your newly acquired content.
Overview of UGC Studio
To get to UGC Studio, click on in the left-hand side icon bar.
On UGC Studio, you have two main sections: My Assets and My Collections.
My Assets are pages of your rights-approved content, the default is set as the newest added first.
My Collections are folders of your assets. These collections are either linked to the TINT board that they originally came from or collections that you have created yourself.
My Assets Page
- Current usage of Owned Uploads
- Settings - Upload Assets and View Asset Archive
- View more images at a time or less images at a time
Filter options:
Search Bar - search for a particular Asset in the list of Assets. The search uses the assets' title
Asset Type - the default is set at all. You can filter it to show images or videos.
Source - filter by where the asset came from
Sentiment - filter by the emotion and feeling of the asset, which is powered by our Sentiment detection AI
Objects - filter by what objects are in the asset, which is powered by our Object detection AI
Tags - filter by what the asset has been tagged as
- Filter your Assets according to a set date range
My Collections Page
Search Bar - search for a particular collection in the list of Collections
- Current usage of Owned Uploads
- Settings - Upload Assets and View Asset Archive
- Filter your collections according to a set date range
- View more collections at a time or less collections at a time
How to view your assets
To show a detailed view of one of your assets, click on the button with the outward arrows on your asset to open up a full page view of the asset.
Here you will find on the right hand side:
Edit - this will take you to a TINT version on Canva to edit your asset. For more information, on this or Canva, click here.
Publish - If you want to push your asset to another platform via Integrations.
Download Button - Download your asset straight to your local drive
... with
Download as Zip - If you want to download your asset, you can select one or multiple asset(s) and download them as a zip file if you are on the screen of your My Asset Folder.
Archive - If you no longer want an asset in 'My Assets', you can archive them but they will move to Asset Archive. If you want to see your archived Assets, click on the Settings cog and click View Archived Assets.
Share Link - this copies a link to your clipboard which you can share with external people who do not have TINT
Add to Collection - you can move and/or copy your asset to another collection. See more in how to upload an asset to a collection.
Copy Embed Link - Copies the Embed link that you see slightly further down.
Underneath these button, you will find the following:
Title - name the asset
Description - give the asset a description
View Asset Details - which gives the following detail about the asset
- the original URL
- the original text and picture URL
- the Terms and Conditions that the asset was requested under
- author's name
- external ID of the asset
- the date it was published
- author's username
- The date when the rights requested was created
- The date when the rights requested was approved
Embed URL - the embed code link
Source - which type of feed the asset has come from
Dimensions - what the dimensions of the image or video are
Duration - how long it is if it's a video asset
File Size - how big the file is
File Type - what type of file it is
Objects - what objects are featured in the asset
Tags - add tags to the asset so you can search for assets with these tags
Date Added - when it was added to UGC studio
Last Modified - when you last modified the asset
Collections - which collection(s) it appears under
How to filter to find your assets?
You can filter your assets in various ways.
- Search Bar - you can search for your assets' via their asset title.
- Asset Type - the default is set at all. You can filter it to show images or videos.
- Source - filter by where the asset came from
- Sentiment - filter by the emotion and feeling of the asset
- Objects - filter by what objects are in the asset
- Tags - filter by what the asset has been tagged as

What is Attention Score?
Under the asset itself, you will find the Attention Score.

Here is an example of three assets, two created from the original asset. The third one has a higher clarity than the first two.
How to view your existing collection
When you're in UGC Studio, click on your My Collections and you will be able to see your existing collections.
How to create a new collection
Collections have the same name as the TINT board where your assets are coming from but you can also create new collections.
- Click on My Collections
- Click on Create New Collection
- Type in your name for the collection into the menu on
- Then it will just appear as the first Collection next to Create New Collection
How to rename a collection
- Click on My Collections
- Select the collection that you want to rename
- Click on ...
- Click on Collection Settings
- This will open a pop-up on the right-hand side.
- Edit the name of the collection
- Click Apply
How to delete a collection
- Click on My Collections
- Select the collection(s) you want to delete
- A warning will pop up to warn you that you can't undo this action
- Click on Ok if you want to go ahead and the collection(s) will be deleted. This will only delete the collection and not the assets themselves.
How to upload an asset
- Click on the Settings Cog
- Click on Upload Assets
- A menu will appear on the right-hand side
- Upload your asset(s)
- Add your tags if you want to
- Add your title
- Click Apply
How to move an uploaded asset into a collection
An uploaded asset will not exist in a collection and only on the assets page.
- Find the asset that you want to add to a collection and select it or you can go into the asset
- Click on ...
- Click on Manage Collection
- A pop-up will appear on the right-hand side
- Click on the collection you want to allocate to (can click on multiples). For an uploaded asset, there will be no collection preselected as it does belong to a collection yet.
- Click on Update
- The asset now will have collection(s) name at the bottom of the asset information
How to move an asset from one collection to another collection
- Find the asset(s) that you want to move to another collection and select it
- Click on ...
- Click on Manage Collections
- A pop-up will appear on the right-hand side
- Click on the collection you want to allocate to (can click on multiples collections)
- Click on Update
- The asset(s) now will have the collection(s) name that you move it to at the bottom of the asset information
How to copy an asset to another collection
- Find the asset(s) that you want to copy to another collection(s) and select it
- Click on ...
- Click on Manage Collections
- A pop-up will appear on the right-hand side
- Click on the collection you want to copy it to. The collection(s) that it's already in will be preselected.
- Click on Update
- The asset now will appear in the collection it was in as well as the collection it's been copied and this will be visible at the bottom of the asset information
How to download an asset or collection
There are a few ways that you can download your asset(s).
How to download one or multiple assets in a Zip file
- Select the asset(s) you want to download
- Click on ...
- Click on Download as Zip
- A popup will appear in the right bottom corner - titled downloading assets. Once it's done, it will populate a file name ending with .zip
- Click on file name which will open a blank page and initiate the download to your device
How to download a collection as a Zip file
- Click on My Collection
- Select the collection you want to download
- Click on ...
- Click on Download as Zip
- A popup will appear in the right bottom corner - titled downloading assets. Once it's done, it will populate a file name ending with .zip
- Click on the file name which will open a blank page and initiate the download to your device
How to download an asset as a file
- Go into the asset that you want to download
- Click on the to download the asset
- This will initiate the download to your device
How to push/publish assets from UGC Studio to an Integration
- In UGC Studio, select the images or videos you want to see appear in your integration either on the My Assets or My Collections
- Click Publish
- A pop-up sidebar will appear where you can select your account. Afterward, a dropdown will appear for you to choose the folder. If the second dropdown doesn't appear, you'll need to create or share the folder where you'd like to store the assets. This process may vary depending on the integration.
- Click Publish
- A small box will appear to say it's publishing assets
- Once it says publishing assets completed, go to your integration, click on the folder you have sent it to and your files should be in there.

How to archive an asset
- Click on My Assets
- Select the asset(s) that you want to archive
- Click on ...
- Click Archive and they will be removed from your My Asset page and archived. You may have to refresh your page
How to unarchive an asset
- Click on My Asset
- Click on the Settings cog
- Click on View Asset Archive
- Select the asset(s) you want to unarchive
- Click on Unarchive and the assets will be removed from this page and move back to the My Assets page
How to delete an asset
- Click on My Asset
- Click on the Settings cog
- Click on View Asset Archive
- Select the asset(s) you want to delete
- Click on Delete
- A warning will pop up to warn you that you can't undo this action
- Click on Ok if you want to go ahead and the asset(s) will be deleted
How to create a post using an asset
- Go into UGC Studio
- Make sure you are on the My Assets page
- Click on the tick box of the image you want to select. Currently, you can only create a post with one image
- Click on Create and pick Post
- A new overlay will open. First, pick your network that you want to post it in. Currently, you can post on Hootsuite Amplify, Twitter and Facebook. You can do the same post for all three. Just select the account you want it to post from and click Add Network and do this for each one you want it to post on.
- Type out your caption
- At the bottom, you will have two options. Post Now and Schedule for Later.
- If you click the Schedule for Later option, it will give you the option to put in a time and date for it to post.
Important information:
- Twitter has a limit of 280 characters, Facebook has a limit of 2000 and Hootsuite Amplify doesn't have a restriction
- Posts published to Hootsuite Amplify will be immediately sent to Amplify drafts, where content Administrators can mark it as approved and ready for sharing
- The Scheduled Date & Time should be between 3 hours and 6 months from now
How to navigate between UGC Studio and TINT boards
When in an asset, you are able to navigate to a TINT board where this post live.
- Scroll down to the header TINT board on the asset on the right-hand side
- Click on the label of the TINT board you would like to go to
- This opens up this TINT board automatically
If your asset does not have this feature, it means that the asset was ingested before these modifications were put in place.
How to navigate between a TINT board to UGC Studio
- Go to the post you want to see in UGC Studio
- Click on View in UGC Studio
- This opens up the asset automatically
If your post does not have this feature, it means that the post was ingested before these modifications were put in place or that post is not an asset in UGC Studio.
How to navigate between an asset and your collections in UGC Studio
When in an asset, you can navigate to the collection that it's part of.
- When in an asset, scroll down to the header Collections
- Click on the label of the collection you would like to go to
- This opens up this collection automatically
